Exploring Eagle Creek in October

This is an image that I made while Exploring the Eagle Creek canyon in the Columbia River Gorge.

Finding that wow moment of the reflective colors, movements and textures is fantastic. My friends were more than patient while I waved my camera around like a mad man, tentatively asking me if I “got a good shot”?

There’s no telling- but I had a lot of fun trying!

Photography is constrained by the literalness of a subject and a snippet of time. to throw off those norms and just be present in the place allows me to play with the feelings that are the river.
