On a recent ski trip the sunset lit up the sky. The colors and textures of the fleeting moment were awesome.

I was doubting my decision making abilities the entire trip up to the Johnson Ridge on Mt. St. Helens, due to the incessant rain. I had read the wildflowers were out, but the rain............

Mother nature smiled on me for a mere half hour, then returned to cloud cover. Wow!
