The Kearn River and South Sierra Wilderness and Chimney Peak , Kennedy Meadows Road

I have two campsites lumped into one, they're in the same area without cell service! Kennedy Meadows was the destination, but I got sidetracked by Chimney Peak- I should just explore here before finishing off the drive! Then I stumbled into a pristine camp spot. When I got on my bike to check out the area, whoops! It's all downhill- and steep! And rugged roadway. Did I mention the forest roads tend to be more like 4WD roads? That ride was short lived.
